Coreply supports OpenAI’s API directly. For real-time suggestions, use one of the explicit low-latency GPT-5 tiers and set reasoning to none.

Setup

Get your API key

Go to platform.openai.com/api-keys and create a new secret key.

Choose OpenAI in the app

Open Coreply and choose OpenAI under API Provider.

Enter your settings

Fill in the following values:

Field	Value
API Key	Your secret key from OpenAI
Model	`gpt-5.6-luna`
Provider Options	`{"openai": {"reasoningEffort": "none"}}`

Choose a model

The following models are recommended for use with Coreply:

gpt-5.6-luna
gpt-5.6-terra
gpt-5.4-mini

If you raise reasoning effort above none, suggestions will usually take longer to appear.
